Actually, children and the childish in our society just have trouble understanding the function of clothing. It is to primarily protect our bodies from the elements and, secondarily, to indicate our place within that society.
Seriously, deliberately exposed undergarments are shouting to the world, “Look at me, I’m still a child, and not to be taken seriously!”
I, personally, do not criticize children and the childish for advertising their immaturity to the world – they are who they are.
