The guns and the mass shooting are the symptoms. What is the root cause of the feeling of isolation from other human beings?

I don’t think school shooters expect to survive the incident. They usually don’t. Executing those who survive might actually play into the fantasy of making a final statement. They will seek the death penalty in accordance with the law. Living in a revenge fantasy is not a legal defense. But is it a good idea to make martyrs out of them in the eyes of others with the fantasy?

I have no idea where kids these days get the idea it’s ok to kill people. Oh,hey; did you all see that the USA executed three criminals today?
