He wouldn’t have been given security clearance to be a seasonal fee collector for the government.

The Russians will erect statues and monuments, and name awards for, whoever masterminded this whole operation. It has to bring a tear to an old KGB man’s eye to see Russian covert operations become such a success. All those years of trying to garner intelligence about the plans and strategies of the USA, and not only do they place a mole in the Oval Office but it’s HIS office. All they have to do is subscribe to his Twitter feed. And he is flattered by it. You couldn’t have made this up and sold it for a screenplay. Hollywood would have told you it wasn’t believable.

How many Russian spies are in the White House now?

Kushner Requests More Intel Info Than Almost All White House Staff. And He’s Deeply In Debt

The Hill is reporting that Kushner requests more classified intelligence than almost anyone else in the White House. And he doesn’t have a permanent security clearance because he can’t get one. He is deeply in debt for 666 Fifth Avenue. Which begs the question- is he selling that info to our enemies such as China or Russia? He has the motivation to do it and the opportunity. No reason to give him the benefit of any doubt. He’s already been caught selling visas to the Chinese.

We’re in big doo-doo here as one former GOP Prez pontificated. Being that the progeny of his loins is considered the worse Prez to torment our blessed country, Trump has a long way to go. Don the Don though is striving hard to replace him in the annals of fractured American history

Actually, the electoral college is our only bulwark against the sickening possibility that our next 10 presidents will be chosen solely by the voters New York City and LA.

NEWYORKSLIM, if you want to continue to use the Electoral College, then the number of members of the House need to be increased to truly REPRESENT the population. Voters in Wyoming and Montana should not have their votes count for more than a voter in New York or California.

Installed, but not elected by a very very long shot (like by over 3 million votes for the skilled competent one).

By the way…in case you are interested…

The average electoral vote represents 436,000 people, but that number rises and falls per state depending on that state’s population over 18 years of age. The states with the fewest people per electoral vote, and therefore the highest “vote power,” are Wyoming, Vermont, and North Dakota. In Wyoming, there are 143,000 people for each of its three electoral votes. The states with the weakest votes are New York, Florida, and California. These states each have around 500,000 people for each electoral vote.

In other words, one Wyoming voter has roughly the same vote power as four New York voters.

The Electoral College is NOT an accurate reflection of the Voters in America.

    “It’s called the electoral college.”

    No, it’s called Constitutional democracy.

Any other system of counting votes could have had the same or a similar result. The only qualifications our Constitution places on candidates are citizenship and a minimum age. Even the provisions of the 25th Amendment don’t apply to candidates, but only apply to a person after he/she assumes the office of President.

The failure here — at least for those who believe there has been a failure — occurs long before the electoral college is involved and is twofold:

    1) The procedure(s) by which candidates are selected.

    2) The process(es) by which voters obtain, select, and judge information about the candidates and the issues.

2a) For what it’s worth, the internet — including both search engines and social media — has greatly multiplied the capabilities for both finding and disseminating both fact and fiction.

2b) In addition, I believe I have noticed an ongoing decline over the past several decades in both the teaching and society’s desire for critical evaluation of information encountered. (A non-political manifestation of this is the massive number of individuals who succumb to obvious scams.)

The electoral college consists of 538 electors. A majority of 270 electoral votes is required to elect the President. This is indicative of the level of STUPIDITY extant in America where we allow LESS than 300 people out of OVER 323 MILLION To determine the President of the United States of America Thats .0000834% of the population making the determination on who will “rule” the mightiest nation on earth – though I will grant that, after a year of Donnie’s “rule” we’re more a “laughing stock” than a “guiding force”!

If the Electoral College ACCURATELY reflected the Voters in America, Gore would have been President from 2000-2008, and Hillary would be President now.

Amen to that one!!! E.C. is outdated, unneeded, pointless hold over from the days of the horse and buggy. Time to get rid of it, let the people elect and appoint the president. The people did NOT elect trump drumpf. He was appointed by a gerrymandered bunch of pretend christians. drumpf is #NOTMYPRESIDENT!
