I thought the first goal would be to relieve customers of the burden of their money.
If I went to an auto parts store to buy just a jug of windshield washer fluid, and the clerk told me with a big smile, “Great choice!” my intelligence would be insulted and I’d buy my next jug at Wal-Mart.
