I wonder how long it’ll be before the Texas School Board makes Decision Points a required textbook.

And is it true that the publisher deliberately held off the release of this book until after the election?

Are all the people who are talking about blind hatred avid readers of “Dreams of my Father?”

So many of these cartoons remind me of The Hitchhiker’s Guide.

Like the Vogons reading poetry to torture.

It’d be like reading the Quran to Pat Robertson? Well, not quite, as Jesus is cited quite a bit.

That reminds me of the two criminals who were going to be executed and the warden gave each one a last wish.

The first said, “I would like to hear my favorite song, Achy Breaky Heart” one more time.

The second criminal said his last wish is “Kill me first.”

Perhaps it was a reference to the little bit of news coverage that did come out of Guantanamo Bay, in which a female soldier was seen reading a “Harry Potter” book out loud to a detainee who didn’t like it.
