Hobbes has been raised in captivity for too long to know how to be a wild tiger.

This would make a great new show for Discovery channel/Food network.

I had the gist of this right, I thought he was going to say his prey was a tuna fish sandwich.

Gotta build up the carbs for the hunt chase. Priorities first, Calvin.

Wild rigatoni can be dangerous unless approached carefully.

You can take a tiger out of the wild, but you can’t take the wild out of the ti……uh, never mind.

Now to cook a tiger (or bathe one like Calvin) Fill a tank with water. Put a tiger in your tank.

Hobbes, not the prey Calvin wants, but yours sounds better.

Good to know that Hobbes has some skills… mainly paying attention to Mom in the kitchen.

Drat this domestication stuff…

If you really want to be a tiger, Calvin, just transmogrify yourself into one again.

It is still a jungle. Ever been to Naples? Shysters everywhere. I enjoyed myself much more in supposedly crime infested Calabria. There, people offered help without demanding payment afterward.

You have to love the imagination of Calvin and his best bud Hobbes. If any of you have a child like this treasure him and love him or her to pieces.

“Rigatoni” and “Noodles”(Fettuccine" , “Tagliatelle” or “Tagliolini” in Italian) are two different kind of pasta : short and cylindrical the first , long and flat the second. In Hobbes’ words seems they are only one type

Rigatonis have always been my favorite prey. Especially on Sundays!
