Why do some commenters think that Ted must be either Repub or Dem? Almost half of Americans are neither. It is possible to dislike Trump, and dislike Hillary at the same time. The problem with today’s politics is, the two major parties pick the worst and the second-worst person to be president, and then let us choose between them.
Can’t fight tradition. (Or so they’d have you believe).
I noticed that 21 Democratic senators voted yes on the Keep Spying on Americans Act (FISA renewal). Included in that bunch was Jones. But he’s “better than a Republican”, so everyone shut up.
Democratic primaries. It’s the only non-violent option left.
Of course, this standard game plan for Democrats would be shredded if ranked choice voting was implemented (along with the elimination of state-financed party primaries). No more “throwing away your vote”, no more “choose the lesser evil”. And no more “I HAVE to vote for the Democrat, because otherwise the Republican will win”.

The Democrats can always snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Nobody detests Trump like me. However, I can totally see this scenario playing out. The Dems have a gift for messing up their opportunities.

Dems need to stop acting like Republican lite and move strongly to the left.

I haven’t heard anything from the Dems that makes me think anything is likely other than the scenario Mr. Rall depicts. I am scared sh*tless.
