^ You mean the guys who said from the very beginning of Obama’s presidency that they would do everything they can to stop everything he wanted to do, to make him fail, and make him a 1 term president? Geee, I wonder who started that fight.

Isn’t Glen Beck advertising a food line that has a shelf life clear to the end of the world? I just saw a bit of the ad so may be way off base. Anyone out there know what I’m talking about? If so, expand on this. Canned goods do have an expiration date. I am not a Beck follower. I was making fun of his ads, buy gold and lots of food.

    ^ I don’t follow Mr. Beck

Back in the early 90’s I bought MREs and kept them in my chest-style freezer for all these years. I just threw them away when I had to get rid of the freezer.

If you are interested in the new generation of meals, water purifiers, etc. your local gun store probably knows where to direct you.

The MREs tasted good, I thought. They would leave out dyes so cheese would be white and other foods might not look like home cooked.

I have almost always lived in hurricane prone areas, so I have the portable gas stove, lanterns, flashlights, water, etc.

It wasn’t the Republican party that defeated the Democrats. It was the Tea Party…formerly known as “the rabble” or “AstroTurf”.

The perpetual campaign is in high gear. Why govern when campaigning is so much easier? You know the perpetual campaign profession, or industry, is dependent upon our being their willing audience, so let’s not.

The perpetual campaign industry isn’t just candidates and their strategists. It now includes hundreds of different pollsters, ideological so-called “think tanks,” lots and lots of private non-profits, or 527s, the entire cable news network, and all the paid partisan contributors who talk and speculate and prognosticate endlessly, and of course, thousands of Internet zines that make money and feed partisan goodies to the media.

^^ What is it with that green GENIUS? How do I get rid of it?

All you have to do is write a bunch of nonsense and distortion, quote Beck or Hannity, repeat a few lies by Michelle Bachman and the genius label automatically disappears. /sarc off

^ two points: first, note the “/sarc off” It’s OK if you don’t appreciate my sarcasm, but I did announce it.

second, it hardly makes one an “aristocrat” to believe lies and distortions are distasteful.

    3rd point added later:

actually, since your question was serious, it deserved a serious answer. I apologize. My comment wasn’t directed at you personally. It was smarmy.

and motive’s comment below is correct. If you paid for a one-year membership the “genius” label remains until the year runs out.

senor, I canceled my membership, but it had already gone through for another year … they don’t refund

church, if you don’t need a paid membership to see archives, what good is the membership anymore

^ I thought it was going to be a clip of an irritated Bush trying to leave a press conference only to realize the doors were locked and he was stuck there with uncomplimentary reporters.

Bearing in mind, of course, that Perry thinks it’s more prudent to go out to promote his new book rather than deal with the $21 Billion hole in the state budget, a budget which he signed last year…
