We reminded them of who is really in charge of things. Power should flow from the people to the elected representatives, not from them to us.

Trouble is the world has changed. The days when a high school dropout could get a factory job and make over 50K a year are long gone. And the schools have their hands tied because they cannot disipline the kids, and they sure are not getting any at home. So we end up putting out a large quanity of no nothing thugs who think society owns them a living. So until parents start taking responsibility, and we let the schools tighten up, we are doomed.

“He and Harry Read both saved the world. Kind of sad to be honest.”

Too bad economics and the CBO and the facts actually agree. Obama got blamed for TARP, therefore Obama’s “TARP” and Stimulus bills prevented a depression, and the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office supports this assessment.

“I don’t know how it will work out with Obama’s narcissism.”

Can’t be any more narcissistic than “everyone must do as we say we know best” Republicans, “f science, what we say is the truth.” “Facts don’t support it.” “Well then the facts are wrong.” Yep, no narcissism there.

    perfect cartoon!!!

(but in the news today, Emperor Obama plans 3 day visit in India….3000 people with him, 40 airplanes, and now 34 warships! $200 Million a day to pay for it out of the public treasury, which is bankrupt.)

could someone inform the Emperor that he is “over the top”?

The next wave is the unsustainable public pensions! city, state and federal. Hopefully the public unions sucking off the American taxpayer will be scrutinized!

“Sorry Jade but calling every one racist because we disagree with Obama or calling the voters stupid for voting against the Democrats is narcissism.”

Calling people godless socialist marxist baby-killing heathens because they vote with Obama or calling the voters illegal, race-loyal or un-american or unpatriotic because they vote against Republicans isn’t narcissism?

“Obama got blamed for Tarp why you say he was blamed not who was at fault. Second Tarp was started by Bush those loans are being paid back the one under Obama people are sketchy. Honest.”

Only a third of Americans (34%) correctly say the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) was enacted by the Bush Administration. Nearly half (47%) incorrectly believe TARP was passed under President Obama. Another 19% admit they do not know which president signed the bank bailout into law. Notably, there is no partisan divide on the question. http://politifi.com/news/Poll-Voters-Think-TARP-Passed-Under-Obama-1019761.html

And remember, people are also very mad at bank bailouts. So yes, Obama got blamed for it.

@pavlov - Democrats overhauled the college loan system so that there is no longer a bunch of money wasted subcontracting banks out to hand out taxpayer money, thereby assuming all of the profit from the venture and none of the risk. This makes loans cheaper and more accessible to more students.

disgusted taxpayer - that is not a problem for me at all.

President Obama is paying for his travel out of his own funds and we as citizens have a responsibility to pay whatever the cost for him to travel as he is your President. Show some respect and quit being a whiny little you know what. I bet you would have had no problem if it had been W on the plane.

“Truth is people are beginning to wake up to just how behind the curve the Democrats are. ”

Truth is every midterm election people vote in people opposite the party in power. Clinton suffered it, Bush suffered it, presidents before him have suffered it far worse. Quite frankly I’m surprised, and delighted ,that the Republicans couldn’t take the Senate.

“His own funds?” Meaning the tax payers are footing the bill, estimated at $2 billion.

I have a problem with any president being sooo far out of touch during these troubled economic times.

Even Bush. However bush never would of done it! Bush quit playing golf after 9/11 as he felt it was insensitive to the population and especially to the victims family’s.

And losses back through history have been far worse. Dig a little.

As for 9/11 Golf: We translated the “Go” message to 9/11 LATE because we had (and continue to have) a shortage of translators so it was in their backlog. Maybe, instead of ousting our mission critical translators due to DADT, he could have stayed any further expulsions? More effective to our mission than not playing golf. Oh wait, can’t do that, he campaigned on gay-bashing.

^ I wonder what stuart will say about DADT…

Probably that gay pride parades are good for the military, or that the army should be dressed in BDSM gear to look more scary.

Well I am from San Francisco so what do you think I would have to say about DADT? The homosexual community always has and always will contribute to the military and should be able to continue to do so without fear of reprisal. That is tolerance and that is the standard. Only a closet homophobe such as yourself, Frog, would think that I would want to see the army dressed in BSDM gear. Project much?

@Corrosive Frog - Maybe stuart is just that out there. It’s not entirely impossible, I’m just amazed if it’s true.
