Actually Sine has a point there. “Splitting atoms” kind of opened they way for Google etc. Tim Berners-Lee, who has been titled as the father of WWW, then worked in CERN. He innovated the way to share their nuclear studies around the globe for another nuclear workshops. Ok, the basic technical work before became from US military though.
