    The meltdown was always happening. The ice never reached the tropics. It always has to stop somewhere. This all started when the income started to fade. There isn’t more melt water runoff. There is less. It just isn’t being replaced. The cold we created by reflection and evaporation cut off our supply of water vapor. We literally cut off our own source of continuity.

    “Well, it all began when I started warning regulators that things were going to go south eventually. But the regulators were all Wall Street alums and buddies with the scoundrels who bet on it crashing in the first place, and then they’d cash in on the failures. Next, the Banker types — who’d been making a killing off the backs of poor folk anyway — wined and cried that the sky’d fall in if those same poor folk didn’t pay for their mistakes and bad judgement. But then … "
