We were never given a figure for how much Les is to pay back Ann per month.

And where is our list lawyer? Does Les still pay if Ann Eiffel is guilty of a felony.

I am going to say step-sister. I would think having Tiffany around could make any family gathering with Gunther or Mr. Gray quite a bit more fun.

Of course, as a friend, he might have a chance with her. It’s no brainer. But for a guy like Les, he would want BOTH. The money and a friend with benefits. Les grew up poor so money is important to him – something Tiffany doesn’t understand. Being a young man, his hormones are still running high. Both are of equal importance to Les.

Tiff is making it abundantly clear that she would be more than happy to be Les’s girlfriend, and she is now rejecting Gunther’s advice that Les is slime. (If “friend” meant platonic, then stepsister would not be in conflict with “friend”.)

If Gunther overheard this, he’d be livid, and probably incontinent.

The “Luann” comic was always good – however recently the participation of Karen Evans has added depth for its female characters. Of course this also has to do with the characters morphing from adolescents to adults. A few months ago I would have stopped reading “Luann” if Tiffany had gone for slimy Les with his cherry stem trick. Now we are seeing a different Tiff and a different Les that might become an item. Well done! Nevertheless that would be sad for autistic Gunther – who really needs somebody if he can handle it. BTW I felt chemistry between Tiffany and Luann when they were rivals. OMG if Tiff & Ann Eiffel are both at their best when it hits the fan. More suspense than 95% of stuff on TV.

Well now the deed is joined, and Sheraton St. Louis makes a reappearance. A mean Paris Hilton maybe? I wonder if Les will be loyal to Tiffany over his mother, which I think yes, and be willing to consider a friend relationship more important than money, which he has always been motivated by in the past. If he does, then his uncle’s hope that he would get better by working at the Fuse, and being around good people, is proving out, if not then the old Les is still extant. Next week should tell, along with the battle joined between Ann and Tiffany.

Submitted for your appraisal one Les Knox. A man who’s life was tossed into the trash can by his mother but she missed and walked away. Ever since he has been biter and frustrated in he’s attempt to find female approval. But in a moment he’ll come to a new understand as he discover a lonelier place, like a bus station at 3 am on Sunday morning. A place which we call the Friendship Zone.

I can hardly believe Les isn’t being sarcastic when he calls it a “power name”.

Tiffany? You Just made a Deal with the Devil. Sure Les has Surprisingly Kept His “Lust in Check” this week, but ONLY because You’ve put on those extra 30 pounds. Tiffany has really evolved from a conceited ditz to a likable, smart, street-savvy young woman. I would love to have her as a friend.

A couple of observations…

I know Les is lamenting the potential loss of income his mother provides him. But I’m thinking that could (potentially) be offset by a reward from Uncle Al for exposing Ann and protecting his (Al’s) investment in “The Fuse/KK.” Consider the big picture, Les.

As stated earlier, I concur that Tiff would not be able to lose the weight she gained so quickly… it will take as much time (if not more)… that is, if it happens at all. I’m wondering now if this might be a more “permanent” change for Tiff. Maybe she’ll lose some weight, but not to her original state. Greg does have to “age” the characters at whatever “evolutionary” interval he feels is right. Since I’ve been following the “Luann Againn” strips, I see what the characters were like at age 13-14, etc. And they’ve all come a long way since then. But they also have to continue to advance (as we saw, real time, with Bern’s hair style change). Perhaps, Tiff may not go all the way back, but find a place that will make her happy, perhaps keep her partner (cough) Gunther (cough) happy :) , and offer evidence of her transition into “adulthood,” from young teen (as her attitude seems to have already). Good luck Tiff. We’re all pulling for you.

What was she thinking? Well, let me tell you, she was very careful in her choice of words. “Step-sister” or “friend.” While step-siblings, on occasion do become more, friends of the opposite sex more often do go that extra step.

Tiffany, think about this for a minute. Your father is dating Ann. Do you really think he’s never shown her a picture of you? There’s also a chance that he might have told her that you were in a movie once using the name Sheraton St. Louis.

This might not go how you think.

Tiffany may not realize from the name that she has in fact confronted Annie Eiffel before. But Ann Awful will not recognize Tiffany from the name “Sheraton St. Louis,” either (and there is at least room to question whether she will recognize fat Tiffany as the girl she once defeated). But Tiff’s plan is risky, unless Les chooses to back her up….

This story arc is excellent.

I kinda feel for Les. He’s paid to take Pru out, and she kinda led him on (I don’t think she’s all that naive). He’s now taking an income cut to keep Tiff happy.

$80 for Tiffs friendship? At least you know she has a price point now Les. Ask what you can get for $100. At the very least, ask Tiff to replace the $80 in lost income for putting her name on the list. It is kinda cool to see her sweet talking Les the way Ann sweet talked Pru, but two wrongs don’t make a right.

Geez, never thought of this, but, maybe Tiffany would take over the lingerie party after driving Ann out?
