This is why we must keep the momentum going and encourage everyone to get out and vote in the midterms this 2018. Alabama was just the beginning and with no Electoral College to get in the way of the people this time we can cut the legs off of this racist, sycophant bunch of prostitutes in the GOP.

It is unfortunate that a nation does not enough self-respect to prevent people with such obvious flaws from running for office. Was entrusting the responsibility of vetting candidates to the political parties an error in judgement?

Krugman nails it today as he calls the Republican tax bill…

“…a bill that treats anyone who works for someone else — that is, the vast majority of Americans — as a second-class citizen.”

I’d like to see the Republican congressmen go down like a row of domino tiles toppled by righteous Americans who are damn tired of being stepped on and used to enrich the upper echelon. It’s time to start taxing the rich rather than the poor or middle class in order to pay for the deficits that have been accumulated by trying to enrich the upper one percent. If he who has the gold makes the rules…. Then it’s time for the 1% who has in their possession more than 50% of all the wealth in this country to pay for those rules that keep enriching them beyond what is reasonable. The Republicans talk about entitlements and yet they seem to think that the rich are entitled to get richer at the expense of the American public and the American public’s grandchildren.

Is anyone else old enough to remember when Adlai Stevenson was turned down as a presidential candidate because he was divorced? O, tempora! O, mores!
