I know that this is Christmas, but I had an argument with my wife on a Mother’s Day one year when she fought with me for about 20 minutes through a window screen……While I was planting a whole special arrangement of her favorite flowers the entire time. I waited for her to run off the deep end before I told her.

I’m so weary of hearing ‘what did you get?’. Does anybody ever ask ‘What did you give?’. It’s much more satisfying.
