Ross Perot had a shot—he got 19% in polling, but he chose a nearly catatonic veep nominee who, like Palin, but in a different way, dragged his ticket down. The problem is that it has become almost impossible to believe the candidates and the parties—we have been lied to sooooo much! Besides, I’m not sure if we’ll be allowed to vote for anyone but the Golden Trumpette!
In 2016, I very pointedly noticed that there was no third party or independent candidates listed: just Clinton and Trump – absolutely only! Considering those choices, we might have had a non-Dem, non-Republican sworn in, last January.
I don’t care how many parties you create if they don’t have equal parity they won’t have a chance. To do that the Duopoly cannot be making the decisions as to who qualifies to them.
