These goons should be charged with assault. This woman was holding a sign and ran toward the CAR Rand Paul was in when they first pushed her away, then ganged up on her, knocked her to ground and stomped on her head.
All this hate rhetoric — lock and load, reload, hints about using the 2nd amendment (guns) to get their way, etc. — is having an effect on some very hateful people. If this is what the Tea Party leaders call being a “real American” then God help this country.

Even when arresting a guy whacked out on PCP (well he WAS naked) and having great difficulty because he felt no pain, literally, and he was bigger than me or my partner who eventually came in to help, we didn’t step on his head, or neck (which was clear in the video)–that can kill a person!
This WAS another example of bully/coward syndrome- not “security”.

The point is that some people don’t give a rat’s @$$ about the truth. They “know” what they “know” and that’s good enough for them. They don’t care that what they “know” is likely to be a lie. Some people aren’t just content to live in ignorance, they need it. All these cable TV talking heads and evangelists have an audience because some people just plain want to be told what to think. Why form an opinion when you can just parrot some overpaid blowhard with and agenda? Like it or not, THAT has become the American Way.
