The Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) provides health coverage to almost 9 million children from families of modest means. Due in a big part to CHIP, just 4% of U.S. children were without health insurance last year. While the Republican agenda in Congress has rammed through the House and Senate unpopular tax reform that benefits the wealthy to the detriment of the rest of us, they have effectively killed CHIP due to non-action. Disgusting!
Every Republican who’s up for reelection should be voted out, let me make myself clear. REPUBLICANS GET VOTED OUT OF OFFICE FOR THE NEXT GENERATION. (A generation is 24 years). By that time maybe this country will be back to being a country that gives a damn about its people and its place in the world.
