I’m hoping this is the final attempt of applying supply side economics to stimulate a flagging economy in the hope that this time it will work. History shows that supply side stimulus has no staying power and has been bolstered by low cost loans , which discourage people from saving. The growing economies have growing middle classes and are adding not removing social benefits. We need a cooperative not divisive political system to survive.

So the boomers are approaching death. Lot of good it helps us depression babies who know from experience what’s coming and how to deal with it.

@MikeFive – do you actually support this monster of a “tax reform” bill, or are you just trolling? It is a fact that it makes tax cuts for corporations and the superrich permanent, even though they already have some of the lowest tax rates in the world, but will ultimately cost the middle class. And the GOP supporting it has lied over and over again about this bill (including Trump, who falsely claimed it would cost him millions rather than BENEFITING him millions), which they “jammed down the throat of the American people” — a line you may recall — by forcing a vote on a 500 page bill with illegible HANDWRITTEN NOTES being used as law. Do you call that appropriate legislation? Really?

They promised the parents, the anvil will cure the child of anything that may be affecting it. Remember when Reagan gave all the children an anvil? I still have mine from the 80s! Then W gave all the children of the 2000s an anvil, now Trump is ready to give the children of today one of their own.
