It was the same mouse used over and over and over…

One more dead mouse would have made it an even 28,900 but apparently Towser was a slacker.

I’ve heard of Fat Cats, but that is ridiculous.

Towser was a real mowser.

That’s quite a few mice. You gotta figure that the champion mouser Towser could only keep up with, at most, a small percentage of the mice in that distillery, so that would probably mean a million or so mice still ran free during Towser’s time.

Always wondered what that extra little “earthy” taste was in my scotch.

One should note that a distillery is full of grain – great mouse bait.
