I think this is very cool in that there are SIX different panels! You do not really see that very much if at all. :)
I am sensing from Nancy’s expression in the last panel that she is shocked (and seemingly worried) about the bird not using the ladder. I would have thought she would not be worried…. but instead would be annoyed that she went to all that trouble. :)
