    Wow, soooo. . .it’s cool to make fun of families having fun (and without electronic devices, gasp!) . . .plus it’s cool to belittle those who encourage learning, language and reading. Better watch out Nicholas, ol’ pal, otherwise you’ll just be drawing comics without the lettering. Who needs pesky words anyway, right? SMH

    It just means the kids would rather be in school than playing Zaggle. I hated school but I would still rather have been there, if the alternate was a forced game of family Monopoly. It’s all perspective.

    @CoffeeMom If someone has to be forced to “have fun,” it’s not fun. Nothing is being encouraged except a strong desire to forget that the whole ordeal ever happened. That’s the fact that this strip is pointing out.
