Democrats won in New Jersey and Virginia campaigning on bread-and-butter issues, the local issues. The voters turned out and voted which is the only way we can win against Republicans taking everything we have and giving it to the rich. This new tax plan will shaft us with increasingly large taxes against the middle class and lower clear up to 2027. It will only get worse if we don’t do something like vote against those who would take away from our future. Are we tired of winning yet?
Trumpism without Trump was a losing formula for Gilespie in Virginia. Trumpism stumbled and Republicans fell to a Democratic wave. This GOP Wipeout proves Trumpism could be fatal for the party.
As Rachel Maddow pointed out, with the way the Gerrymandering and other means used to turn Democratic Majorities into losing propositions to Republican Minorities it was a hard row to hoe to win.
I’m still predicting that Penceism will replace Trumpism. You know, if more Democrats had voted last time around, we would currently have Clintonism…….
