I did the same thing. Left a 9-5 cubicle job for my “dream” job working a 9-5 work-from-home job instead. 13 years and a few promotions later, I couldn’t be happier! I get to bring in a paycheck while sitting on my recliner in my pjs, thanks to the internet. :D

At least he doesn’t have to clean up after the elephants.

Monty’s head-to-the-keyboard pose in panel 2 mirrors mine here at my desktop all too often. The difference is, Monty is bored to death while I am usually sleepy from staying up too late.

And, no, the circus ain’t all it’s cracked up to be….

The point being is if your an accountant it doesn’t matter if you are in a cubicle or work for the circus, it is still boring. That is why all successful accountants have fun hobies.
