Don’t confuse her with the facts, Franklin, Peppermint Patty’s mind is already made up.

She came, she looked, she failed to conquer. That’s what Teacher didn’t like; Patty’s “looks” at the paper didn’t generate any answers.

Wow!!! She beats me hands down on being self-defeating. I guess it is because of the way I leave inane comments. There is nothing I can do now.

My daughter came home one day and told us that she had a test in physics, and she’s sure that she did terrible. “I blew it. I know I got one question right, but I don’t know about the rest.” It was near the end of the grading period and she was hoping against hope that she would be getting a C on her report card. We told her that the best she can do is her best (we’ve known that physics isn’t her strong suit but she needed to take it for her Honors courses). Well, not only did she get a 92 on the test, but her final grade was a B+.

For someone who is so confident in sports, Patty seems to give up too easily at school.

Maybe you should study more and sleep less

So what if Peppermint is dumb, she can always be a PE teacher. Nailed it!

Like, most people nowadays. Instead, of blaming themselves, who are at fault. They blame someone or something else.

Peppermint Patty is being very adult here. Or at least she’s acting like a lot of adults do: It’s not my fault, I don’t own it and I do not take responsibility for it.

I’m sure Franklin is most aware of people judging by appearance. Subtle strip.

What’s with the hatching all over Franklin? Does anybody else think its weird?

Franklin’s nose is the same size as PP’s.

I couldn’t care less what grade I got. School (especially Elementary) is only a small part of life anyway. You always learn bigger and better things after leaving school.
