The overt reference to “Blazing Saddles” would be much funnier if Bannon were more like Hedley and a lot less like Taggart or “Gabby” Johnson, in reality. Mr. Brooks, however was absolutely ‘prescient’ in his depiction of Trump as Governor Lepetomane. When I was laughing myself ‘sick’ in 1974 I had no idea that I’d be living the movie ‘in reality’ in 2017. Te movie is less amusing and the parallels with reality more ‘jarring’ than I would care to admit!

And, in passing, I must wonder if ANY of Donnie’s Cabinet realize that they are the Governor’s “Nig”? Bart had no intention of destroying the town; I wish Donnie’s Cabinet had the same goal!
