    The company must be Disney. Train your entry-level person, who gets minimum pay, or a foreign import, where they pay them jack, & it takes three employees to replace one experienced, older person, & threaten the experienced, top of the field employee with losing their severance pay if they do not train their replacements.

    I knew someone who kept having to train the new people. Every one of the 3 new people he trained wound up getting lead positions over him within months. He asked his boss, “If I’m good enough to train, why can’t I be a candidate for a lead position?” Her answer was, “Maybe one day”. 5 years later and it never happened so he left the company and got a better paying job elsewhere.
