We all agree that there is a problem, but are we willing to compromise to come to a solution? A two opposing party system has deepened our divide to a point where there are now geographical, as well as, ideological differences. Are we no longer a nation, but individuals and tribes fearful of each other?

Pew found that 83% said they consider gun violence in the US a big problem — including 50% who called it “a very big problem.”
The divide comes when Americans — 47% of whom said they consider the right to own a gun essential to their sense of freedom — are asked what to do about it.How about making it harder to obtain guns? Almost half, 47%, said there would be fewer mass shootings if it were harder for people to legally obtain guns in the United States, while 39% said that wouldn’t make a difference, and 13% said it would lead to more mass shootings.
One example of how difficult it is to build public support for stricter gun laws came last year in Nevada, where a ballot measure to expand gun background checks was approved — but barely, winning 50.4% support to 49.6% opposition out of more than 1.1 million votes cast. That vote came despite Pew finding 65% of Americans support background checks for private gun sales and at gun shows.
And interactive map to show all the mass shootings in the US, and to look at details. Very sad. https://www.pri.org/stories/2016-06-15/map-all-mass-shootings-us-1982-2016
As long as they can continue to enjoy their second amendment rights, what are a few dead bodies as long as it doesn’t affect “me”? The first Senate miracle: John McCain needed surgery before a cruel healtcare bill vote. Now Scalise has returned, will he vote to ensure the next time he is shot at, he won’t even hear it coming?
“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” So, exactly WHAT does the Vegas shooter, as well as ALL the others have to do with “A Well regulated Militia”???
Simple solution…you want a license to own a gun? Join the National Guard or Military Reserves. No service, no gun!

When will Caucasians become TERRORISTS? Insanity is a common thread in most mass killers, but home grown whites just have “mental problems”.

As long as the NRA is allowed to buy "Con"gress members with their BRIBES, it will NEVER be the time to “Discuss Gun Control”!
Perhaps it’s time to discuss repealing the 2nd. Amendment instead!

Stop voting for Republicans if you want things to change.

Mr. Clay I think this is powerful. Really good! What you can do with a six panel image to evoke strong emotions. Keep them coming!
