True story:My in-laws were friends with a couple that mysteriously showed up unannounced at dinner time several times a month. After one such meal, my F-I-L put his plate on the floor for the dog to clean off. He then put it in the cupboard with the other plate. It was a loooong time before the freeloaders showed up again.
