I can understand this. We have the Executive Branch, The Judicial Branch and the Legislative Branch. I admit that sometimes I have trouble remembering Legislative Branch. I know what it IS, Just have trouble remembering the name.

We live in a pathetic country. If we ever wanted to make it great, we’d respect teachers and compensate them better than the leeches of Wall Street.

Well, thank you for not blaming teachers. I teach it in second grade, we create our own and even check and balance system where we create and pass laws.

Great artwork today. If we only allowed this informed 25 % of the population to vote. The world would be a better place.

I guess Trump really does love the uneducated. How can we expect people to vote for their interests when they don’t even understand what they are voting for? They end up voting to ensure their own children will be dumber than they are. The politicians really don’t mind.

I think that the dumbing-down of the education system came with the " leaving no child behind system". Instead of making arrangements to educate children at different levels, they slow all classes down to keep up with the slowest rather than the fastest of the children in that class. And when subjects are too hard for the slowest those subjects are eliminated. And basically we do not even have the 3 R’s any longer. They no longer teach cursive in school. They basically do not teach mathematics any longer because children can use calculators or they no longer teach basic math but a system of math that so hard to understand that adults cannot grasp it unless they learned it as children. American children seldom read at a level considered adult level by the time they ate finish High School because of television and speaking computers laptops PCS whatever. With the lack of the 3 R’s, why bother to teach them to think or do research. It’s too difficult to analyze a problem so just go with the easiest solution someone else tells you. I think those sidewalk surveys are a lot more true of the level of Education of our young adults than most people would like to believe.

And, in 2016, a poll showed that 41% of republicans polled still believed the racist nonsense that Obama wasn’t born in America. I would LOVE to see the Vinn diagram of these two findings!
