You know, Nixon at his most insane (in his case it was only temporary) merely TALKED to White House portraits, and of course they talked to him, too. As far as I know none of them HIT him. Whereas Trump needs to be paddled from the bone spurs in his feet to that dead animal he wears on his head………

We would not be in this situation if Trump had a big stick. His little stick is why he has to be so macho. His brash talk is because he is dog whistling, and does not know a lot of things. He uses nicknames because he can’t remember people’s names and fake sarcasm when his thoughts go too far.

Teddy would have a lot of reasons to throttle the Orange Doofus. Most of the damage Trump has done so far is against Teddy’s policies like restrictions on robber barons (bankers and industries), protection of natural resources (our national parks) and, of course foreign policy with strength of character, all things that Trump has failed so miserably at.

Teddy did have nearly as big an ego, but he wasn’t a crook, he DID lead men into combat at personal risk, he did everything he could to conserve America’s resources and protect our most valuable areas for future generations. He was actually a man, and not a coward.

Teddy’s “Great White Fleet” was his way of quietly demonstrating America’s power without actually "using"any force! One hundred ten years later, Donnie’s “mouth” keeps writing ‘checks’ that he has NO INTENTION of ‘cashing! Teddy’s “Fleet” was America’s way of saying, “We are a force to be reckoned with!” while Donnie’s bombastic bloviations to the world is America’s way of saying, “We’re abdicating world leadership – and would you PLEASE stop laughing, now!” After all, Donnie is an object of ‘pity’, not humor! (snicker)
