Our government is being destroyed from the inside out. North Korea doesn’t have to bomb us. Terrorists don’t have to attack us. We’re being destroyed from the inside out.
WESTNYC, CFPB (one of Elizabeth Warren’s “crazy” ideas) is trying to prevent companies from putting blocks on suing them in their terms and conditions. Equifax who has put 143 million people’s finances at risk is trying to get people to sign up for TrustID and they have blocking suits as one of their conditions. CFPB has banned these types of conditions, but the Republican Congress is trying to block CFPB because they work for their donors, not the American people. And look at Bernie Sanders’ “crazy” idea about making colleges more affordable by taxing financial transactions at a tiny percentage. This tax would have the side benefit of preventing the lightning quick trades that destabilize the stock market and economies when their trades are on currency of small countries.
SILLY SEASON, thanks but I am still concerned about this wording, "Equifax had complied and added language noting that its arbitration clause does not apply to “the cybersecurity incident.” This sounds like they could still block you from suing for a different incident.
Oh, that. Arbitration clauses are in almost every single business transaction that is done in the U.S, online and offline. If it concerns a business, you probably already signed your rights away.

The total lack of trust and honesty is not the way our founders expected government to be run.

Schumer above all is a pragmatist. Thank heavens he is there to stop Warren and Sanders from implementing their crazy ideas.

Hah! Trump totally hoodwinked the Democrats by getting them to accept everything they wanted in the first place. What a deal maker!

A little more current, of course the usual suspects are screaming about how unfair it all is to huge multinational corporations:
