What JohnS keeps ignoring is that Obama deported more illegal aliens than any president before him, the bad kind, the criminals and the like. That just left the children for Trump to target. But then facts and truth just get in JS’s way anyhow. His Russian handler gets really mad at him when he strays from the script they give him.
Don’t forget, it was Bush 43 who wanted to call them “guest workers” and have them stay. Reagan gave amnesty to millions. The GOP only became hardcore anti-imitation over the past several years.
It’s so NOT funny it makes me want to cry. It’s going to hurt businesses so badly that it’s making businesses get off their butts and let Trump know not to do this. It’s going to cost businesses millions and millions of dollars to replace these workers in training replacement workers even if they can find them. Which could help save $800,000 dreamers from being deported. There are already thousands of jobs out there that can’t be filled because we do not have the workers who are willing to take the jobs that no one wants to do. Which is why Trump let in 80,000 guest workers, especially some to work at Mar-A-Lago at below minimum wage.
And most of these 800,000 workers have worked at getting an education and Training and proving themselves to be outstanding citizens. They’ve started businesses of Their Own and families of Their Own. It’s really immoral to send them to a country they know nothing about just because they were born there. They’ve been here since they were children and are assimilated into this country and they belong here.
Face it: if that Executive Order didn’t have President Obama’s name associated with it then the Supreme Leader wouldn’t give a crap ~ one way or another ~ about the young adult DACA / Dreamers. This, for Trump, is all about the legacy of the previous president: there is no logic involved, just contentious envy of his predecessor.

To paraphrase a joke, It’s not funny because it’s true.

If the laws against hiring illegal aliens were enforced, would there be a problem?

Remember, Republicans believe that the LAW ONLY applies to OTHER PEOPLE, and not to them!
