Personally, I think the mystery of Hallmark Mysteries is why anyone would watch it in the first place.

I kind of suspected that sheriff was in on it.
Watch “The Midsommer Murders” instead. This UK series usually has multiple victims per episode, but still manages to make the murderer extremely difficult to discern. The earlier series are the better ones…of course.
