I am so glad Joel is back! He will of course, be the one to save the day! Hopefully, Joel will be able to wrangle it so Elam Jackson and the widow do form a new family together…. and he will also be able to get Rufus out of the dumps. Now, Rufus has been rather mean to Joel of late, so, when Joel does help his friend out…. it will be out of the goodness of his heart and his loyalty.
Glad to see Joel has both his pipe and jug with him. It will help him as he figures out how to solve this current mess.
Following rant sponsored by Duke Power and Trane Air Conditioning, bringing relief and comfort upon this citizen since seven AM today in this Central FL neighborhood..(with a week-long nod to “My Friend Irma”)..Sleeping /napping in the comfort of an air-conditioned CrownVic got dam old PDQ… (I wonder how cops got used to it??..haha) Har-r-r-u-mph !! and that’s as far as I got, for my phone has been ringing off the hook from faraway friends (ones who can remember what land-lines are and how they’re used) but it had something to do with the fact that GasAlley is almost a hundred year old strip with ever-changing characters and stories, some good, some bad, but consistently entertaining and something to look forward when first opening the daily newspaper/Smart-Phone/computer. How many remember "Freckles and his Friends? or “Fritzi Ritz?”.."J.R. Williams’ “Out Our Way?” It ain’t right to bitch and whine about missing ‘such and so’ character… Come on kids, it’s a single-stream COMIC strip, not a full ORCHESTRA !! If it were, there would be 117 artists with 237 writers dreaming up stuff that …… well, you get the picture..or in this case, the .jpg/gif..I may be old, but so are the computers that I built/build. aaargh..
