Even the ‘documentary channels,’ such as History, Smithsonian, and Nat’l Geog, have descended into sensationalism and substitute really poor visual effects and lurid music for presentations that should provide a straightforward educational experience.
Since the year 2001, the Star Trek series seem to be concentrating on going over where we have already been. ‘Enterprise’ dealt with the very beginning of the Federation, the Star Trek movies deal with an alternate version of Kirk and his crew and the new “Star Trek:Discovery” takes place about 13 years before the famous five year mission
