Ramirez, maybe you can explain what principles Republicans want in a health care plan.

    .

Trump says he wants Obamacare to fail, which will force Democrats to work with Republicans on health care.

Except that Trump cannot identify anything they want in a health plan.

And neither can the Trump Disciples.

Obama did his best to make USA crash to the ground. Instead, his legacy ends up taking that very course. Governments should stay out of healthcare.

Narcissists (and Democrats) are notorious for placing blame on other people and not on themselves. Even when they clearly and definitely did something wrong (the failed ACA) .. they will not accept responsibility.

Ramirez is shilling for the GOP again. First they pulled the ads for the ACA during enrollment depressing the number of people who signed up. Then they used ACA money to run ads against the ACA. Now they enjoy saying it is failing. I use ACA and it works just fine, but with all the sabotage Republicans have been doing it will fail. But they will own it one way or the other. Especially when all their plans result in higher premiums and fewer people insured.

Government, ideally, is a cooperative organization that manages and/or provides the services that individuals, groups and businesses cannot efficiently and effectively provide themselves …(e.g.) standards for weights and measures, police, firemen, road repair, and in most advanced self-respecting nations, healthcare. This depends on having honest, intelligent, cooperative, and frugal people elected to government positions who are expert in efficiently and effectively managing and preforming the essential processes that span the spectrum of people’s needs.Personally, I think we have a long way to go to achieve that goal.

Health care is a RIGHT, not an entitlement. You’re playing word games in your cute little picture. And it being a right does not mean that anything needs to crash. It works ALL over the world. People have access to public health care all over the world and live healthy, productive lives and society continues to grow. Only here, with thinking like yours, is there a problem.

I notice that none of the Trump Disciples posted anything about what they want in a health plan. NOT ONE.

    .

    Get government out?

Okay, start by repealing that pesky law that requires ERs to treat those who cannot pay.

Follow that up with repeal of the HMO act(s).

And, of course eliminate Medicare and Medicaid — not that Trump knows the difference, but what the heck, as long as we’re getting government hands off stuff, no matter.

RUTHLESS TERRIER, the ACA needs some things to be fixed, just like any major project or program in history – nothing is perfect from Day 1. Rather than fix it, the GOP just wanted to repeal it and after all these years they do not have a viable solution.

. @Bruce4671 Pelosi and the rest of the Dems in Congress read the bill. What she said was that the PEOPLE could read the bill to see what was passed without all of the noise and BS from the Repubs about “death panels” and other lies.

.Insurance companies are required to spend 85% of their premiums on actual healthcare which has caused premiums to rise MUCH slower than they did before ACA. They are not allowed to refuse claims like they used to for frivolous reasons (e.g. teen-age acne not listed on insurance form led to insurance company refusing to pay for cancer treatments). Subsidies are available for those who cannot afford insurance.

.Trump and the Repubs are causing uncertainty in the insurance markets which will cause a MASSIVE increase in premiums.

OAKSTONE, selling insurance across state lines would not work. Insurance companies need to build relationships across the health care complex with doctors and hospitals and this is done on a local level. Working across the country would weaken the network capabilities. Plus, when the credit card companies were allowed to sell across state lines, most of them incorporated their business in Deleware because they had the most lax laws.

.If you want to abolish the mandate for insurance, then you ned to agree to NEVER use the emergency room since they are required to treat you.

.ACA requires Congress and their staffs to use the ACA exchanges, buy their own insurance or they can have insurance under their spouse’s coverage. They get subsidies just like many people who get insurance through their employers.

.As far as your reply to me about Congress reading the ACA bill, the bill came out of the House committee in July and out of the Senate committee on October 13th. The House voted on November 7th and the Senate voted on December 9th. So your “three days to review” is false, especially since the bills were available for review while they were being worked on – Congress would only have to review the amendments.
