You’re a scumbag. The PARENTS ended the legal battle when they were given clear evidence that it was too late for any current treatment to have any chance of working.
Research funded by the “nanny state” has led to a lot of vaccines and cures, and is working on DNA and genetic manipulation to “cure” genetic fatal issues like Charlie’s. Lethal genetic flaws aren’t the fault of the state, over there, or here.
And no, England, New Zealand, and other nations with health care systems better than ours, aren’t by any means perfect either, but they’re better than ours, and FAR BETTER than “Trumpcare”.
I have a strange mixture of religious and scientific opinions. It’s how I was raised. And so I think young children in such circumstances should be left to heaven. I have a niece profoundly retarded due to a medication error when she was three years old, in that state for over 30 years now. She suffers, her family suffers. I can’t imagine God, as I understand Him to be, intends this. And if you think so, think long and honestly how it would affect your life. It’s easy to observe and approve other peoples’ misery.

Yes, it would be much better if we had TrumpCare that would take away ALL of his medical insurance.
