I love Toles’s work for precisely this kind of creative, clever way to make his editorial point.

Or a sense of entitlement. This cartoon explains the problem nicely. https://digitalsynopsis.com/inspiration/privileged-kids-on-a-plate-pencilsword-toby-morris

    More damage to do

    before there’s a coup, -

    - before Mueller gets you replaced!

Republicans want more polluting coal and fossil fuels that pollute the atmosphere and cause global warming. They don’t like solar and wind power because they don’t get bribes from those people.

I knew more about science in grade school than Trump does now—or is capable of learning. (Full disclosure: my dad is a scientist and a lot of that was just me soaking things up by osmosis…….)

Anyone who reads regularly and I mean on a daily basis would have more intelligence then our beloved POTUS. You don’t need a high IQ and you don’t need to have a scientist in the family to be exposed to the scientific theories of the day. Pick up any newspaper any magazine in any doctors office, in any railway station, in any Library, left on the bench in a park, or at a corner kiosk. Most employee break rooms have something lying around that anyone can read and talk over with each other. And today’s movies are pertinent so there’s no excuse to stick your head in the ground and deny the truth of what’s happening in the world.

Actually the thermometer in the cartoon should be a rectal thermometer, and the place to stick it should be the White House.

Something to remember:: The tax cut JFK was talking about was reducing top marginal rate from 90% to 70%. It stayed at 70% until Reagan’s voodoo economics cut it to 28% and both deficits and income inequality began to soar. The US would benefit greatly to go back to the tax structure of the Kennedy era. I second that.

“The Simpsons” creator Matt Groening made no secret of his feelings about Donald Trump at a Comic-Con panel on Saturday. He led a crowd of hundreds of fans in a rousing chant: “Lock Him Up!”
