I was in the local office supply store yesterday. Lots of happy moms. Long faces on the kids

since when is Holly stoked for school? oh, wait… the outfits, not the supplies

I’m with Alix. The days are getting too short too fast. My kids are all grown up now, so back-to-school really isn’t a thing anymore, for us.

Alix definitely has the best idea. The days are too short and the leaves began falling a couple of weeks ago. :(

I’m with Alix, too. It took a long time for summer to get ‘here’ and then we had too many days of smoky skies and couldn’t get out and enjoy the summer. All the years people have inhabited the earth and we still can’t control the weather! Jeesh!

A day at the beach isn’t going to work for anybody in Texas. Pray for the people of Houston.

I’m so glad that August and summer are almost over. It is too hot and humid to go outside in FL.

Nowadays, back-to-school sales start on the first day of summer vacation.

What’s happened to Alix and Holly? Used to be Alix liked school and Holly hated it, now it’s the other way around.

Holly is ready to buy clothes and Alix just wants summer to last longer. Around here early school bus driver’s practice.

I would go to the lake but the brats are too young to drink the beer.

Today, I’m going to the State Fair.

I agree alex, then my best friend would still be alive.
