Do like the other animals and plants are doing, finding the nearest mountain and start climbing it.

I keep hearing echoes of this cyclical dialogue running along the arrow of time:

“You kids think you’re going to live forever!”

    “Don’t trust anyone over thirty!”

Chicken or egg. Ya gotta start somewhere. Does that indicate bias?

Climate Change is eternal; it was here before us and will still be here after we are gone.

Besides, whatever anyone thinks is happening (good or bad) is not bothering old mother earth – she will shrug us off as just a tiny irritant in her full life.

I wish comic writers could figure out that politics isn’t funny. If Doonesbury can’t make it funny, then no one can. But, here in the real world in South Dakota where the US Drought Monitor says we’re in a D2 Severe Drought, we’re getting a half inch of rain every 5 days or so, and temps are in the high 70’s in the afternoon. Looks like record corn and soybean crops, for the 4th time in the last 6 years. So even if it is getting warmer, it looks like it makes MORE food, not less. 40 years ago, a 40 bushel/acre corn crop here would be considered good. I am now expecting 150 bushels/acre this year, and that would only be my 4th best crop. Don’t let the alarmists scare you with their constant doomsday talk. Life goes on.

WTF is it with comic artists deciding to abandon humor to make political statements? I’ll go to TV news for my political commentary thank you very much. I want humor in my comics.

Oh well, time to plonk another comic strip….

And in Australia, the govt weather service got spanked for having monitoring equipment programed to eliminate any reading below -10c while keeping all high range measurements. Oops.

Just watched The Pianist. The dystopian scape could/did happen for real reasons. The guy (could be us) had to boil the few grains the farmer produced that he could kype. Yield was not the issue, access in the fridge/face of damn -near-oblivion was. Survival depends upon escape strategies but moreover in the end, upon the help of others of like or different persuasions. Comic readers, keep reading the gallows humor, don´t bemoan it and edit it out of your life.

That really is a hellscape if RJ has to get water instead of Yoo-hoo.

Either they really did attain preternatural lifespans via Twinkies, or a future raccoon looks just like RJ. Surely he didn’t finally procreate?!

He obviously felt it important to take one day off to mention it. Seems worth it.

Maybe it’s time to stop carrying on about who caused it, or didn’t, and start figuring out how to deal with it. My guess is 15 or 20 small responses that will have to be done simultaneously, not one or two big ones.
