A normal student instead of a three-foot-tall wünderkind?

Looks like the normal size girl has a hand every bit as big as the NBA prospect. No wonder Gil made her a tight end.

Gil will be happy to revisit those thrilling shower scenes of yesteryear. Good times.

He was a big help? Are you saying he actually showed up in those days?

Was GilPa more impactful helping JaQuan navigate the pitfalls of recruiting than his Coach? As Trey and The Don make their way to the Thor P front porch for a Countrytime moment, Mimi is showing Pedro her favorite wrestling moves.

Instead of ‘Gil Thorp’, this comic should be called "Gay and Gayer’

Well I guess I can’t say this is still stupid because I am not supposed to do that.

Trivia time: OK, the long timers told us who these two were. My question is were did they transfer to Milford from?

So State Champion Coach Gil Thorp actually coached a guy to the pros? Am I reading this correctly?

Jaquan Case was not a student at Milford. Trey Davis met him at a basketball summer camp, and was concerned about how Jaquan’s uncle was exploiting him for his own personal benefit, so Gil stepped in, or something like that.

Yes, Jaquan (LeBron figure) was a student at Bishop Tardy in 2005. Milford was going to play them in a home game that would bring major revenue to the school through an ESPN like network (T.A.P.). Trey was his Milford opposite number (and blocked his shot a couple of times before the inevitable loss). Jaquan’s uncle wanted him to go straight to pros from college, as could be done back then, for the money. He also had him hooked up with Tronix. Jaquan’s late parents were teachers and he wanted to go to college. Gil helped him out of the jam and presumably into a place of higher learning of his choice (thought it was late March by then), somehow finessing the Tronix deal. Jaquan was also helped out by guard Steve Luhm and his girlfriend Hadley V. Baxendale, who alerted Gil to the situation. They both seemed like college material, though Luhm ended up a janitor. Presumably Jaquan graduated in 2009, went to the pros and became LeBron-like, and somehow Trey was able to cash in. Jaquan gave Trey his jersey after the game (though Baxendale was more deserving).
