Some states use a light bar that has both red & blue lights. Back home in NY, blue only, was only used by volunteer fire departments, & law enforcement/ambulances only used red, or a combination of red & white.

He’s gonna “take you in,” all right….

    He’s a cop; you’re a doughnut and a cup of coffee.

    Do the math.

PS … our city police cars have roof-mounted light bars, one end blue, the other red … they flash alternatively.

This is from the local paper:

    http://www.pressdemocrat.com/csp/mediapool/sites/dt.common.streams.StreamServer.cls?STREAMOID=bW9M1Byu47pFLkrksl4XU8$daE2N3K4ZzOUsqbU5sYs30MWGUXnezkXepeW2Z68AWCsjLu883Ygn4B49Lvm9bPe2QeMKQdVeZmXF$9l$4uCZ8QDXhaHEp3rvzXRJFdy0KqPHLoMevcTLo3h8xh70Y6N_U_CryOsw6FTOdKL_jpQ-&CONTENTTYPE=image/jpeg

Other police departments, like county sheriffs and the CHP, use different configurations…. some rotating, some stationary.

Some light bars show mostly red from behind and blue in front, as you drive past…

but they all seem to use both colors.

Dunkin’ while driving – sounds like a clear case of distracted driving.

The coffee will spill on the policeman’s lap and he will sue for damages.

You know, though, it finally occurs to me- Look at the condition of that doughnut. I don’t believe a dunkin’ charge will stick. No grounds.
