Sadly most of them have given their all for some other reason than protecting the USA even the US-UN/Korean war wasn’t such a danger to us. So all those who have deserved even more mourning for their loss and ours for nothing good. And yet the US still persists in wanting to be the Empire to the world which no one asked for or wants. Except a certain social strata here does.
We do have treaty obligations, but I would like to see all USA troops overseas brought home except for the bare minimum needed to cover those obligations.
I would also like to see ALL foreign aid stopped. We have plenty of need for that money at home for infrastructure repairs, along with homeless folks to house, and starving children to feed.
The USA has no business nation building any where in the world, especially in the mid east where, within a year after we are finally out of there everything will have returned to what it was before we went over there.
There are SO many WONDERFUL things about the Red and Rover comic strip, and so much of it’s “life lessons” and wonderful ideals are lost in the world we now live in, SADLY!
