Said it before, and I’ll say it again: people afraid of a free press are cowards. So that kind of destroys that whole “strong leader” thing, doesn’t it?

There’s something wrong with this cartoon. Trump could never remember the name of Recep Erdogan. He’d probably call him Reception Hurt Again.

Trump is causing plenty of trouble, mainly to the environment, but the blame for the US’s inaction on Turkey’s turkey-government doesn’t fall on him alone. President-dictator Erdogan has been waging his war on free speech and persecuting dissenters ever since he came in to power in 2014, and for these past two years former president Obama also looked the other way, presumably because Turkey is a strategic ally. Well I think it’s high time for the US government to reevaluate their alliance with this menace to freedom.

I like the nice touch of Trump’s portraits. The ones that look nothing like the bizarre walking cancer cell himself.
