It’s never pleasant to get involved in another war but we can’t just play dead to ISIS, Syria and North Korea. I’m glad Trump dropped MOAB on ISIS!

There is plenty of area between rolling over and doing nothing and all-out war. It’s too bad that this has turned into a partisan issue. When dealing with Syria, Iran, N Korea, Russia, and even China, diplomacy only succeeds when there is the power of our military behind it. We need a strong, robust, and capable military to stand behind our president. Obama was shy about using the military muscle of the US, even as a deterrence, basically considering it the bully in the world. That may work in academia where every player is reasonable and willing to talk it out. But in the real world, we need force to back up our words, and hopefully never need to use it.

Obama didn’t hobble the US Military. Obama was trying to get us out of wars started by the last incompetent Republican. Trump isn’t giving the keys to the Military to fly loop-de-loops. He is letting them bomb indiscriminately around the world, putting all of us in more danger and not focusing on America at all.

Obama’s measured responses was on the road to peace. Trump is raising suspicion, fear, and military build-up, which usually leads to war.
