Shirley needs a reality check. Her constant hate filled comments will affect Louis’s respect for HER. He loves BOTH of them, so keep the snide remarks for when the adults are alone. It is obvious that she will never remarry. She hates men. Like my dad said “It takes two to make a child” Shirley deserves to be an old maid. It is her own fault. I have NEVER read where Louis’s dad ever once trashed Shirley.
