I think if you research “the dogs of war” in its various historical and literary contexts, it is not something to which you want to compare the actions of our military. Stripping the defeated enemy forces on the battlefield and plundering civilian property to collect booty is rather frowned upon these days. I suppose as with a lot of ancient concepts, this one could have changed over the years.
Trump does not understand anything about the Armed Forces. He just figures that the more gold braid and scrambled eggs on the hat, the better and smarter they are, just like Flynn.
