I ran all this through Google Translate on 12/29/2010. Here’s what it gives, with some corrections on my part:

Zonker: The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.

    Mike: Where? Zonker: Over there.

Mike: So what are we talking about today? Zonker: I dunno. But I don’t think it matters much.

Mike: Why is it not important? Zonker: Because this dialogue isn’t real.

Mike: The dialogue is just simulated? Zonker: Right. We just have to make sure all the words fit in the spaces.

Mike: When is the real dialogue added? Zonker: When the art is completed and returned to the U.S.

Mike: I don’t understand why they don’t just do the whole comic here. Zonker: American cartoonists charge too much.

Zonker: They also live in absolutely degrading conditions.
