As I recall, “Bless your heart” was the southern genteel pronunciation of “FU”

Used many ways including FU, but always said with a smile and a southern draw.

“Bless your Heart” is classic Southern Diplomacy. “Diplomacy”: “The ability to tell someone to ‘Go to Hell’ in such a way that they actually look forward to the trip!”

“During anxious times, it can be tempting to follow the siren call of the angriest voices. We must resist that temptation. No one who is willing to work hard, abide by our laws, and love our traditions should ever feel unwelcome in this country.” – Haley on Trump

“The people of South Carolina are embarrassed by Nikki Haley!” – Trump on Haley

“Bless your heart” – Haley to Trump on his attacks on Syria.

I guess she might as well have said it to the Russians, they helped Trump plan it.
