McConnell can take credit for destroying the Republic. He blocked every move Obama made, he has undone centuries of Senate tradition, and he is on his way to destroying the Supreme Court. This is TREASON, people. Not just politics as usual.

I guess the senate is no longer the greatest deliberative body in the world.

Mitch just ensured a deeper divide in Washington, do you think the Democrats will appreciate not having to deal with a filibuster when they take control back and start packing the courts with liberals? Much like the CEOs who layoff employees for a temporary stock increase, the GOP has destroyed the Senate rules for a petty win, completing a year and a half power grab.

the Republicans will be on to crow, it is what the people want and the dems did it too, but they didn’t this was done by a cowardly republican for an underqualified supreme court nominee.

What next? You have members of congress defending other members’ actions by saying they are “answerable to the president” (indicating they DON’T KNOW THEIR OWN JOB!); then you have the senate imploding. There is a megalomaniac, narcissist splitting his time between the Whitehouse and his own Florida Versailles (paid for by club members); I wonder what kind of cake Queen Milania prefers? We are morphing from a republic to an oligarchy….. Are we Rome?
